Date: May 14 - 21

Place: Kouga and Baviaanskloof regions

Distance and route: The expedition will cover approximately 514km, with the winning team completing the race in 72 hours and the last team in six days.

The route consists of 12 legs and 11 transitions.

Disciplines: Mountain biking (60%), trekking (27%), and kayaking (13%).

Teams: 39 teams from all over the world, one team member must be a woman. Teams are required to complete the entire Expedition distance together (always within hearing and visual distance of each other), helping and assisting each other.

Finishing time: Teams have to finish as a team - the time is not the average of the four competitors, but a single time based on the team’s simultaneous arrival at the finish line.

Navigation: Navigation with map and compass only.

Race organisers: Heidi and Stephan Muller

Dotwatcher: Follow teams on dotwatcher and support them when they are in your area.
