FROM humbling beginnings in 2006, In FoodDeli and Bakery is fast becoming internationally
renowned for its heavenly food, delicious coffee and tranquil atmosphere.

Celebrating their 9th birthday, InFood is an oasis of heavenly cuisine bursting at the seams with melt-in-the-mouth pleasures.

Discover artisan breads, croissants, delectable cakes and tarts or start the day with breakfast on their large wraparound porch and an expertly
executed cup of coffee.

After almost a decade of growth and various changes, InFood Deli and Bakery, situated in
Jeffreys Street in Jeffreys Bay, is going back to their roots – with owner Jayne Davies back in the kitchen cooking up a storm and wooing customers with her mouth-watering delights.

According to Davies, emphasis will once again be placed on quality and not quantity. “We are constantly faced with an industry of suppliers that cut corners to save a few rands. We pick that up immediately in the taste of our products and we endeavor to never compromise on quality. So, we source new suppliers that feel the same passion and integrity towards their products as we do,” says Davies.

“InFood has had associations for nine years with some of their suppliers and continue to enjoy the support they provide.”

InFood also boasts gluten-free products and a wide variety of banting products for the carb conscious. InFood grows their own herbs and flower garnishes in pretty flower beds in an enchanted garden full of hidden surprises such as “air plant hearts” and mosaic Royal Doulton stairs.

This area is open to the public to indulge in a delightful ploughmans platter and enjoy the fine mist sprayers that cool off any humid summer day. If you are lucky to find ripe strawberries growing in recycled plastic guttering, then eat them!

Furthermore, not a scrap of food goes to waste – that which cannot be used goes to a local farmer to feed his pigs.

The staff at In Food is passionate about community involvement and supports the Jbay Recycling Project, JBay Pet Sanctuary and Ithemba.

InFood also contracts out for private catering and that is where Davies will often work closely with creative chefs at InFood, namely Karen Butz and Amoré Du Plessis in designing and producing exactly what the client needs.

Davies attributes the huge success of Infood to the fact that they do not compromise on quality as well as to her loyal, qualified and highly committed staff members.

“Furthermore, we would not have been what we are today without our loyal customers of whom most have become friends over the years.

Davies has kept InFood a destination store and emphasises that it will always be “one of a kind” filled with her personality and passion for serving the very best to her customers.

Treat yourself to an unforgettable experience and discover a world of culinary pleasures at InFood.
