PUT on your running shoes, grab an entry form and enter the first Farm Run set to leave the starting blocks at Nico Malan High School on Saturday, August 31.

According to event organiser, Sue Smith, the more experienced runner will enjoy racing the route traversing the beautiful surrounds of the Van Rensburg-farm, while the leisurely runners and walkers will have plenty of time to take in nature.

The event, forming part of the se-cond annual Kouga Humansdorp Lentefees and sponsored by Jeffreys Bay SuperSpar, consists of three ca-tegories: 10km run, 5km fun and a Mini Spar Dash.

The first male and female runner, as well as the first senior and junior runner, will each reach a Jeffreys Bay SuperSpar voucher, while all participants to finish the 5km and 10km race will receive a medal. The first 60 runners over 18 to finish the race, will receive free craft beers.

All mini-dashers will walk away with First Choice products.

There will also be various lucky draw prizes up for grabs.

The 10km run will kick off at 07:30 at R130 per runner, while the 5km family fun run at R90 per entrant will make a dash for the finish line at 07:45. Tickets include admission to the Lentefees on race day.

Entry to the Mini Spar Dash cost R10 per person.

Enter online at www.quicket.co.za. Tickets are also available at Nico Malan High School in Humansdorp.

Late entries will take place on Friday, August 30 from 17:00 to 19:00 and on Saturday, August 31 at 06:00 at the Lushof Boys Hostel.

A R10 late entry fee will apply.
