Gear up for moonwalk and pool party

2017-11-23 06:00

ST Francis Sport Events is set to host a moonwalk followed by a pool party at Dune Ridge Country House at 18:00 on December 2.

The 12km walk (or run), taking place during full moon, will kick off at Dune Ridge Country House and go through the Eskom Conservation Reserve onto the Sand River. This 7km walk will be followed by a 5km walk on dune field - which participants should reach in time to see the moon rise.

It is estimated that the last walkers will be back at 21:00.

There will be one water point, and walkers are required to wear headlamps.

Enter online at www.stfrancissport.co.za. Participants can also enter at Dune Ridge Country House from 17:00 on the day of the event. The entry fees are R85 for adults and R45 for children under 12.

Funds raises will go towards the Chokka Trail Beach Cleanup and Alien Eradication Project.
