THERE is just over a week left to go colourful for a good cause this February.

In the run-up to the fifth annual Kouga Express Cansa Shavathon at Fountains Mall on February 24, the Kouga Express will have their second Kouga Express Cansa Shavathon Business Challenge this February.

This colourful challenge is set to transform the heads of local businesses in the Kouga region in aid of the Cancer Association of South Africa (Cansa) in Jeffreys Bay.

How it works

To be part of the Kouga Express Cansa Shavathon Business Challenge, is as easy as one . . . two . . . three.

First, interested businesses must contact the Kouga Express.

Secondly, armed with spray cans, the Kouga Express team will visit participating businesses to spray their hair a multitude of colours in return for a monetary donation paid directly to Cansa SA. The donation amount depends on the business - whether it is big or small; every Rand will make a difference.

Lastly, businesses are encouraged to challenge other businesses in the region to go colourful and join the challenge.

The photos of participating businesses will be published in the Kouga Express.

The challenge ends on February 23.

Cansa Shavathon

Residents and visitors keen to show their support for this fun-filled, yet meaningful event, can venture down to the promotion court in front of Pick ’n Pay at Fountains Mall on 24 February from 10:00 where the Kouga Express team in conjunction with Fountains Mall and Cansa Jeffreys Bay, will be waiting to shave, cut or spray their hair a multitude of colours.

All it will cost participants are a few minutes of their time and a few Rand out of their wallets.

All funds will go towards research to help find a cure for cancer, as well as to assist local cancer patients in financial need.
