IS it the circus? Is it the colour army? Is it the spray parade?

No! It is a colourful invasion by the Kouga Express team - ready to tackle residents with spray cans or clippers for a good cause.

Spray, shave and donate

The fifth annual Kouga Express Cansa Shavathon, which promises to be a colourful affair, will take over Fountains Mall in Jeffreys Bay from 10:00 to 13:00 this Saturday.

Residents and visitors keen to show their support for this fun-filled, yet meaningful event, can venture down to the promotion court in front of Pick ’n Pay at Fountains Mall on 24 February from 10:00 where the Kouga Express team in conjunction with Fountains Mall and Cansa Jeffreys Bay, will be waiting to shave, cut or spray their hair a multitude of colours.

Ponytails of 25cm in length or longer, will go towards making wigs for cancer patients in need.

All it will cost participants are a few mi-nutes of their time and a few Rand out of their wallets. All funds will go towards research to help find a cure for cancer, as well as to assist local cancer patients in financial need.

Financial donations beforehand are also welcome. Donations can be made to Absa Bank, Cansa SA, account number 115 714 0058, reference Shavathon 2018 JBay. Kindly email a copy of the donation slip to Monique.Basson@media24.com or fax it to 042 293 3957.

All funds raised will go towards research to help find a cure for cancer, as well as to assist cancer patients in financial need.

Donations of Ensure Nutrition for cancer patients are also much-needed. Donations can be dropped off at the Kouga Express office at 75 Da Gama Road in Jeffreys Bay.

Cansa Shavathon Business Challenge

There are only two days left to take part in the second annual Kouga Express Cansa Shavathon Business Challenge in aid of Cansa Jeffreys Bay.

To be part of the colourful and worthy challenge, pledge your support in the form of a monetary donation - big or small, every Rand will make a difference.

In return, the Kouga Express team will visit participating businesses and spray the hair of employees a multitude of colours. A photo of each participating business will be published in the Kouga Express.

The challenge ends of February 23.
