December 16: Opening of the Season

The official Opening of the Season will take place at the Amphitheatre in Jeffreys Bay from 14:00 to 20:00 on December 16. Local and professional artists, dancers and DJs will entertain the crowd.

December 17 - January 6: The Song & Surf Music Festival

Rock Lily in Cape St Francis is set to present The Song & Surf Music Festival from December 17 to January 6, 2018 featuring artists like Can of Worms, Red Tape Rion, Die Radio Kalahari Orkes, Albert Frost, Chris Cameleon, The Sweet Resistance and Arno Carstens. The 11th annual St Francis Sport Summer Series, hosted by St Francis Sport, is set to take place from December 18 to January 2, 2018 - sporting a variety of sporting events. Added to the sporting mix this year, is a number of charity events, including a Full Moon Walk on Tuesday, January 2. December 20 - 22: Beach Festival

The Case IH/ Agrifriend Beach Festival will take to Main Beach from 09:00 to 15:00 from December 20 to 22. The festival consists of volleyball, tug-of-war with a tractor, jumping castle and give-aways.

December 20, 22, 27, 29: Carols and Nativity Festival

December 21 - 22: Beach Touch Rugby

December 21: Night Market

Their will be a night market at Global Leadership Academy in Jeffreys Bay from 17:00 on December 21, as well as a performance by Kaleidoskoop at 20:00.

December 26 - 31: Billy’s Beach

December 27 - 31: The Ruins

South Africa’s New Year’s Eve bash of the year, The Ruins, will return to St Francis Bay. With the likes of GoodLuck, Sketchy Bongo, Locnville, Prime Circle, SauBomb, Das Kapital, PHFAT, Kyle Deutsch and many more - the line-up will rival all other celebrations in the Eastern Cape. December 30: Marina Mile

The annual Marina Mile will take Place at Marina Martinique in Jeffreys Bay on December 30. This year’s swimming festival includes the Marina Mile at 12:00, the Marina Double Mile at 09:00 (swimmers must be 12 years or older), the Marina 500 at 11:00, and the Marina Bank-to-Bank at 11:15 (participants must be 12 years or younger). January 6: Woodlands Dairy Race

The annual Woodlands Dairy Kouga Multispsort Race, now in its 17th year, will take to the street on Saturday, January 6. The 15km race will kick-off a 06:30, while the 5km fun run will leave the starting blocks at 07:00.
