Jeffreys Bay RFC receives welcome kit

2017-03-16 09:53

THE Jeffreys Bay Rugby Football Club (RFC), established in 1998 and the only Eastern Province Rugby Union registered rugby club in Jeffreys Bay until 2016, received a much-needed monetary boost from the National Lotteries Board.

The money was used to acquire long-overdue equipment and playing kits.

The club wishes to thank the National Lotteries Board, as well as all their other sponsors who supported them throughout the years.

The Jeffreys Bay RFC consists of 80 players who are primarily from Pellsrus. It is a non-profit and self-sustaining organisation that derives its funding from gate fees and sponsorships.

It being a community club, the club unites community members on a weekly basis, whether it is at practice sessions or at games.

For more information or to support the club contact Lulama Lindi at 073 834 9975 or Patrick le Grange at 082 296 3754.
