Joubertina SASSA office to relocate

2018-01-25 06:00

THE South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) is set to relocate the Joubertina local office.

The office, which is currently located in Main Street, will move to Kareedouw on January 31 - giving hundreds of locals only a few days to comply with the shift from cards to bank accounts.

According to Sandy Godlwana, Senior Manager of Communication and Marketing for SASSA Eastern Cape, the relocation was prompted by the low intake of SASSA beneficiaries in Joubertina in comparison to that in Kareedouw.

“We furthermore received a plot from the KouKamma Municipality which will enable us to save on rental costs and improve efficiency.”

Joubertina will be serviced weekly as a counter service point.
