Labacor/ Pick n Pay presents team shoot challenge

LABACOR and Pick n Pay, in conjunction with the South African Hunters and Game Conservation Association (SAHGCA) will hold a Corporate Challenge Team Shoot at the Billson Shooting Range on December 2.

The shoot will be an inter-branch/ family/ corporate team challenge. Each team consists of four members.

Any calibre centre fire rifle is allowed, with no restrictions on the telescope. Four different rests will be provided at each range to cater for beginners to advanced shooters.

The competition will consist of six ranges: warthog, gongs, springbok, impala, gongs and clay target. Five shots per range will be allowed.

SAHGCA shooting range safety rules will apply. Firearms must remain in a bag/ case at all times and may only be removed on instruction of the range officer. Eye and ear protection are compulsory.

The entry fee is R150 per person or R600 per team of four. Prizes to the value of more than R30 000 and loads of lucky draws will be up for grabs.

Entries close on November 29. Only 20 teams can be accommodated.

Registration and sighting of rifles up to 100m will take place at the range from 07:00 to 08:00 on the day of the competition, while the opening and briefing will take place at 08:00.

A portion of the money raised will be donated to Dorp van Drome. Coffee, cool drinks and hot dogs will be for sale.

A bring and braai will take place after the shoot.
