Local angling club to hold tackle workshop

HOOKS . . . floats . . . gaffs . . . waders and tackle . . .

The Cape St Francis Angling Club will hold a tackle workshop at the parking area in Kabeljauws at 09:00 on Sunday, March 4.

The aim of the workshop is to assist junior anglers with preparation and guidance with regard to the correct tackle to be used for rock and surf angling. Protea and provincial anglers will give valuable information on the day.

Anglers must bring long their current tackle.

Parents are advised to join their children, so that they can understand what is required to achieve success in rock and surf angling.

The workshop will end with a braai. Those attending, must bring their own refreshments and meat. The club will provide the fires.
