DIE lekkerste en soetste sitrus van die seisoen kan die naweek tydens die Agrimark Nartjiefees in Loerie opge-raap word.

Dié dorp in die Gamtoosvallei is reeds besig om oranje te verkleur, soos daar vir die fees se kwarteeuvieringe op 1 Oktober gereed gemaak word.

Buiten vir die nartjies, lemoene, vars groente en hope kunsmarkstalletjies, kan feesgangers uitsien na van die land se topkunstenaars wat hier sal optree.

Die gewilde Afrikaanse duetpaar, Jay en Lianie May, asook die Broers sal die gehoor op die dag vermaak. Vir die country-musiekliefhebbers sal Ray Dylan se optrede ’n hoogtepunt wees. Jennifer Zamudio, Dillon Lerm en Barneace Slabbert sal ook ’n draai op die musiekverhoog maak.

Tussendeur die vermaaklikheid kan kinders hulle vir die fees se onderskeie kompetisies inskryf.

Inskrywings vir Mej. Nartjiefees en Mnr. Nartjiepit sal om 08:00 plaasvind en die wenners sal op die dag aangewys word. Die drag is slenterdrag.

Vir die wat eerder as die Nartjie-eet-wenner bekend wil staan, word ’n nartjie-eetkompetisie aangebied.

Die fees sal op 2 Oktober met ’n erediens deur ds. David Higgs, die Broers en Dillon Lermby op die feesterrein afgesluit word.
