NATIONAL stock car action is set to take over Port Elizabeth next weekend when Victory Raceway will host the second round of the DO4SA National Championships at Victory Raceway in Victoria Drive, Walmer, on April 30.

The classes to compete are 1660, 2.1 Modifieds, Hot Rods, Midgets, American Saloons, Late Models and supporting class Super Six.

To battle it out for the winning trophy are Christopher Burisch in the 1660 Class, as well as Bryan Grimbeek and Hendrik Beets in the Hot Rod Class. Competing in the 2.1 Modified Class are Hendricus Botha and Barend du Plessis, while the American Saloon Class can expect Allan Booysen and Ronnie Graven taking to the track. Chris Liebenberg, Fanie Mostert and Gabrie Gelderblom will be seen in the Late Model Class. The Midgets entries include Gerhard Slabber.

The gates open at 09:00 and racing starts at 18:00. The entry fee is R80 for adults, R20 for children under 16 and R20 for track parking. Tickets are available from Computicket. For information, contact Maggie at 082 656 8830.
