NEF to host seminars in Kouga

2017-09-14 06:00

THE National Empowerment Fund (NEF) will host seminars at Humansdorp and Jeffreys Bay next week to introduce their services to Kouga’s people.

Local Economic Development (LED) portfolio councillor Bryan Dhludhlu says the seminars have been scheduled for Monday, September 18.

The first session will take place at the Humansdorp Country Club from 10:00 to 13:00. This will be followed by a session at the Newton Hall in Jeffreys Bay from 14:30 to 17:00.

According to the NEF, all businesses, whether owned by black or white people, are invited to come and find out how they can benefit from and be part of a growing economy through B-BBEE.

“Information will be shared about business planning and mentorship, funding requirements and how to save and invest,” Dhludhlu says.

Target groups are community members, cooperatives and SMEs, students, potential enterprise development partners, organised business and labour, government sectors, existing NEF investees and the mass media.
