Organ Society to host Christmas Concert

THE Feather Market Organ Society will present their annual Christmas Concert at the Feather Market Centre in Port Elizabeth at 13:00 on Thursday, December 8.

A selection of festive Christmas music will be played on the grand organ by Jaco Bosch, Christiaan Carstens, Rina Ras and Albert Troskie.

Neels Kruger from Pretoria will play his pan flute, while the Jubelkoor from Jeffreys Bay will entertain concertgoers with songs such as Gesu Bambino and The Lord Bless you and Keep you.

The Cantatori Male Voice Choir and a massed choir of more than 100 voices will also take to the stage, performing various Christmas songs, including Jerusalem and Joy to the World. The Salem Moravian Concert Band will also take part in the concert at which funds will be raised for charity.

Admission is R50 for adults, R30 for pensioners and R10 for children. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the concert.
