SUIT up, grab your bike, join the lineup and let the adrenaline bully you to the finish line.

The sixth annual Jeffreys Bay Windfarm Mountain Bike Classic - a highlight of the 2018 JBay Winterfest set to take place from July 2 to 17 - will pedal off on July 14 from the Kabeljauws Hub in Jeffreys Bay.

MTB Classic 2017 champions Jason Reed and Yolande de Villiers are bound to be back to defend their respective titles.

Max Sullivan, Ndumiso ‘Maza’ Dontso, Anriëtte Schoeman and Siska van der Bijl will also be back to fight for the winning spot.

Sporting three routes - 25km, 50km and 85km - the adrenaline-packed event will offer something for a range of fitness and skill le-vels.

Over the past five years, event organisers worked hard each year to innovate and improve both the routes and rider experience. With the 2017 event featuring an almost entirely new route that included large sections of singletrack, the 2018 will sport some exciting changes.

All three routes will traverse the spectacular JBay Wind Farm, from which the race derives its name. Riders will have the chance to ride along roads interspersed by 80m tall wind turbine towers, spread more than 500m apart.
