HUNDREDS of adrenaline junkies will des-cend on Kouga this May for the annual action-packed MySpar Mountain Bike Classic.

It is expected that some 500 plus mountain bike-enthusiasts will take to their saddles on May 1, taking on the challenging routes and breathtaking scenery at the Zuurbron Bike Park on the R330 15km from Humansdorp in the direction of Hankey.

The carefully planned route offers something for the whole family - from the expert to the novice.

For those riders who are well-acquainted with their bikes and spend hours training, the 60km route will offer endless heart-racing challenges. This includes farm roads, jeep and single tracks, and, not to be forgotten, the famous floating bridge.

For the less technical mountain biker, there is a 35km route, but do not be fooled, it still requires a decent level of fitness.

There are also a 10km mountain bike ride and a 10km fun farm run/ walk.

Adding to the fun are food stalls, coffee bars, jumping castles, face painting and sand art. Cash prizes and goodie bags will be up for grabs.
