Prayer Warriors to host walk and service

2018-09-27 06:00

THE Humansdorp Prayer Warriors, an interdenominational non-profit organisation, will host their second prayer walk and open air service at the The Point in Arcadia, Humansdorp on Sunday, September 30.

The walk will start at 10:00 from four different points: the Christian Assemblies International Humansdorp, the play school in Vaaldam, the Morgan in Sonstraal Street and Mr Roy Pub on the corner of Mentoor Street and Booysen Street.

The open air service is set to commence at 12:00.

Former 28 prison gang member and now devoted Christian, Alexander Joostenberg, will speak at the event. Joostenberg, who spent more than 20 years in jail, is a member of Hope Prison Ministries and a national and international motivational speaker.

Apart from prayer services, the Humansdorp Prayer Warriors also offer counselling and training to people in need - hoping to bring about a lasting and positive change in the area.
