PRIVATE Care Ambulance Services in Jeffreys By will host a carols evening at the NG Church Complex on the corner of Olienhoutstreet and Torchwood Street in Jeffreys Bay from 19:00 to 21:00 on December 21.

Pierre van der Westhuizen and Ronell Erasmus will deliver solo and duet performances. Meno Mostert will also take to the stage.

With his rich classic tenor voice, Pierre, who has wanted to sing Gospel music since he was a child, sings inspirational songs to the glory of God. He is a dynamic and committed musical artist exhibiting music-making that deeply touches the emotions of audiences, connecting with people from all walks of life. His voice has been described as rich, resonant and compelling, with clear tones and impressive agility.

He had voice training under Wilhelmina Dunbar and later attended the Opera School in Pretoria under Eric Muller, participating as tenor soloist. Although classically trained, he is not limited to serious classical music, but has extended himself to Inspirational, Gospel, and Love music in a classic style, pursuing his solo career.

Pierre is privileged to maintain an extensive concert repertoire and has performed numerous solo concerts in South Africa, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Zimbabwe and Namibia with his gospel singing ministry.

Ronell is a very talented singer who started her road to fame performing for local singing group Touch Of Class.

She later went on to become one of the most famous gospel singers South Africa has ever seen. She has released an extensive list of albums and DVD’s.
