Recyclable material kits out 25 learners

2019-04-11 06:00
On Saturday, March 30, some 25 learners from Kabeljous and Smithtown arrived at the pop-up swop shop of the JBay Recycling Project at Suikerbossie on a donkey cart piled high with bags filled with recyclable material. The children exchanged 700kg of ‘trash’ for school uniforms - ready for the start of the second school term. The school uniforms were funded by the Jeffreys Bay Wind Farm. For more information, visit www.jbayrecyclingproject.org or contact 084 684 6771. Photo:DEON LATEGAN
