Resident to kit out local donkeys

2019-06-27 06:00

DO you own an operational donkey cart with donkeys?

Then head to the open field in Netlercamp Street, Hankey at 10:30 on Thursday, July 4.

Local resident Ailsa Raede-Sherwin, in conjunction with Eastern Cape Horse Care Unit in Port Elizabeth, will deworm donkeys on the day and provide owners with a free harness for their animals.

There will be a special prize up for grabs for the best tended donkey.

All interested parties must arrive with their donkeys and cart.

According to Raede-Sherwin, the aim of the day is to help keep residents’ donkeys in good health and not to confiscate any animals.

Contact Raede-Sherwin at 083 368 8466 for more information.
