2019-01-17 06:00

THE South African Police Service (SAPS) has issued a warning about an advert for a trainee intake for 2019 which is currently being circulated.

“The SAPS would like to inform the community that the police have not circulated such an advertisement.

“The posts for the 2019 intake were advertised in May 2018, the closing date of which was June 15, 2018, and the selection process is currently underway,” said police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu.

The SAPS has warned the community to be wary of bogus adverts and to contact their local police station’s recruitment office for info.
