Tennis academy to host tournament

Seals Tennis Academy is set to host a Red Dot Jammers Tournament for young players - a first for the academy.

The tournament, open to all young beginner players under the age of seven, will consist of two levels.

The first level will be in the form of a catch rally tournament, while the second level will be an assisted start rally tournament for the more experienced young players.

The tournament will take place at the tennis court in Cape St Francis at 13:00 on Friday, November 23.

  • Seals Tennis Academy, based at the Seals Point Tennis Club in Cape St Francis, is owned and run by Tennis South Africa (TSA) registered national tennis instructor Deandré Dreyer.

They offer coaching from ages of three and older.

Apart from tennis classes at the Seals Point Tennis Club, they offer various sessions at other courts throughout the Kouga districts.

He is furthermore the official tennis coach at Nico Malan High School in Humansdorp, as well as at Jeffreys Bay Primary School.
