The race is on . . .

2017-05-04 06:00

THE battle of the ‘undercover’ trolleys is on - who will cross the finish line first?

Will True Technology proudly defend their winning title and once again claim victory, or will the pink milk spill from the Woodlands Dairy milk carton get the better of them? Or will Ubuntu Bricks throw a ‘rock’ in the works?

Will Jock Food go barking mad and deliver a “pellet” performance or will Jeffreys Bay Superspar cash in on the winning title.

Is it Fountain Mall’s tortoise that will crawl over the finish line first? That is if Build It does not throw a spanner in the works.

Some 14 well-known businesses will be lining up at Fountains Mall at 11:00 on May 6 where they will go head-to-head battling it out for top-honours as the winning team of the ultimate trolley race.

Racers need to be tough and fast to get into the finals, as only the top five teams will advance to the last round.

The race will be preceded by a trolley march through the mall and parking area at 10:00.

The Kouga Express is the official marketing partner of the GLA Trolley Pro, while Fountains Mall is the event sponsor. The results, as well as photos of the event, will be published in the Kouga Express of May 11.
