HIGH-speed, quick decisions, trust in your codriver and high levels of concentration . . .Petrol heads and adrenaline-junkies can look forward to high-speed and adrenaline-pumping action at Fountains Mall on Saturday, October 19 when the Algoa Rally 2019 50k Regional Rally Championships rev into town.Spectators can view over 31 drivers from across the Eastern Cape, Bloemfontein and Durban performing with precision and accuracy, negotiating corners at high speed with squealing tyres and avoiding obstacles placed at strategic places in the parking area which will form the course for the day.The action-packed day will kick into gear in the parking lot at Fountains Mall at 10:00. This 1.03km stage, a very technical stage, is always a challenge and highlight for both drivers and navigators.While the cars move on to the gravel stages, the Supa Quick Interschool Trolley race will run in the Fountains Mall parking area. The school with the most entries stand a chance to win to win prize money of R5 000, sponsored by Heinesport. The proceeds from this event will be ploughed back into the community as each school had to submit a wish list and stand a chance of receiving some, or all, of the items on these lists.The gravel stages can be viewed at Kabeljous at 10:30 and 14:10, from where competitors will make their way towards Hankey and Melon before the final spring through the Fountains Mall parking area.Visit www.algoarallyclub.co.za.
