Each week residents must find a specific tourist attraction in the Kouga region - including Jeffreys Bay and surrounding The specific location will change each week and be announced in the Kouga Express. The second tourist attraction to be discovered by local tourists is the well-known landmark between Patensie and the Baviaanskloof in the Gamtoos River Valley. This landmark is the result of erosion of the sheer cliff and can be seen when en route to Patensie. Visit the site, take a selfie, and post it on the Kouga Express Facebook Page before September 27. Each photo uploaded on the Kouga Express Facebook Page, is an entry into the competition.The photo must be accompanied by the date the photo was taken and contact details of the sender.The owner of the winning photo of the second week will receive a guided tour for two and Mooihoek Strawberry Farm in Patensie. They will furthermore be treated to lunch at Padlangs, sponsored by Malan Growers. The total value of the prize is R300 - anything exceeding the amount, is for the winner’s own pocket.Terms and conditions apply. Bookings must be made in advance.Four weekly prizes, as well as two overall prizes can be won.One lucky overall winner will receive a stay at Cape St Francis Resort, a day hike (Chokka Trail) with calamari tasting and a canal cruise for four valued at R2 400.Also up for grabs, is a weekend (two nights) for five at Pabala Private Nature Reserve’s Stone Cottage.
