IN celebration of Nelson Mandela Day, Supreme National Stock Holdings proudly painted jungle gyms, presented toys and donated a cheque of R5 000 in the 67 minutes initiative for the children of SOS Children’s Village in Grange. Mandela Day is an international day in honour of Mandela and is celebrated each year on July 18. SNS Holdings marketing manager Richard Malebane said this is their first Nelson Mandela Day initiative since the holding company started in 2017.He said this is something special for them, especially because they are doing it for the children. “Our company aims to empower people into entrepreneurship and have an impact on society through creating business partnerships that will later lead to the reduction of unemployment in our country. For Mandela Day, we are very glad to help these children as orphans and abandoned young souls. They need love as much as any other individual,” he said.Malebane added that they are planning on adopting the children’s village because they believe that there is a lot that they can do for the children. The holding company’s main aim is to uplift and empower people on the ground by finding a way for them to be financially sustainable and independent.Follow the holding company on Facebook (SNS Holdings PTY LTD) or e-mail: email@example.com for inquiries or for more information. — Supplied by Musa Mkhize.
