IT was way back in 1950 that the Bible Centre began in an upstairs shop in Church Street.

Over the years, we have been in Club Lane and Timber Street, but we have been at 141 Longmarket Street, now Langaliablele, for more than 40 years.

The Bible Centre is owned and run by Dan and Maryann Genheimer, who have been involved with the shop since the 1seventies.

It is one of the largest independent Christian bookstores in South Africa.

We also have a branch store at the Cascades Centre that is now celebrating three years.

It is our passion to serve God by serving the community of Pietermaritzburg and South Africa with good Christian resources at good prices.

We stock everything from Bibles, books, music, DVDs and gifts to all kinds of resources for teaching.

Over the years, we have become known all over the country for the widest range of Christian resources and for good special offers, and we post products out almost every day.

Our “specialty” is Bibles and we keep them many languages, translations and styles.

We also keep a wide range of Bible study and reference books that many bookshops do not keep. As part of our celebrations, we are taking key titles each month and giving 65% off.

For August we have the beautiful Moments with God books with 365 readings. The regular price is R99.90 but we will be taking off 65% which means it will cost just R34.90.

For September we have the full colour rugby book Beyond the Tryline with testimonies from Springboks. And for the two days of Friday 28 and Saturday 29 of August, we are giving 20% off everything ... even our bargain products.

So don’t miss out - visit us at 141 Langalibalele Street or at Cascades Centre.

Celebrate with us with specials all through 2015
