Our programmes are based on functional movements, weight training, explosive training and total body conditioning to produce better joint mobility and stability, more effective muscle balance and stronger, fitter human beings.
We use a method of training that involves a high work rate, using exercises designed to burn calories during your workout and maximise calories burned after your workout (known as your after-burn).
These are high intensity circuit type workouts that often involve challenging total body compound exercises, and short recovery intervals. This method of training is known as metabolic conditioning, or high intensity interval training (HIIT).
Functional fitness exercises are designed to train your muscles to work together and prepare them for daily tasks by simulating common movements while using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time. This type of training can make everyday activities easier, reduce your risk of injury and improve your quality of life.
Functional exercises also emphasise core stability.
Strength-training exercises are also incorporated into the workouts, thus always challenging your muscles and making sure you never hit a training plateau.
These workouts are great for total body conditioning.
The programmes are designed to be scalable, thus making it the perfect application for a committed athlete or an individual just starting out.
