CARTER High School is proudly known as an “institution of excellence”, with the holistic development of your child as our primary focus.

Carter’s success over the many years is largely due to the fact that parents, pupils, teachers and school governors have embraced the ideal of excellence and work as partners with high levels of dedication and commitment. The positive ethos, coupled with a diverse curriculum within a co-educational setting, undoubtedly forms an educational platform to prepare your child for life.

Our pupils have produced phenomenal results in all facets of school life.

Head girl, Cecilia W’emedi, travelled to Magdeburg, Germany, to take part in the Grand Prix of Nations Choir Competition. The Carter KFC Allstar Cheerleaders competed in the SA Nationals in Bloemfontein for drum majorettes and cheerleaders. Three of our top table tennis boys travelled to Cape Town to compete in the Table Tennis National Championships. Ex-Carterian, Caitlin Stobie, graduated with BA (Hons) in English literature from Rhodes University and received a illustrious scholarship. Kiara Singh was placed third in the National Science Essay Competition and 10 of our soccer boys and girls were selected for KZN teams. These are just a few of our pupils’ achievements.

Carter High continues to inspire young minds and prepare them for the opportunities that lie ahead of them. Attending Carter High School is a unique opportunity, so seize it and be inspired.
