THE Indian film industry and entertainment are synonymous, and at this year’s Royal Show, a troupe of 25 dancers will perform a dance routine, inspired by the latest Bollywood dance hits. Hosted by Hindvani FM, the dance extravaganza will be followed by a comedy experience and the chance to dance the night away with the station’s radio jocks as they present a hot and spicy Bhangra evening.

The 2017 Royal Hindvani Extravaganza takes place on Saturday, June 3 at the Royal Agricultural Showgrounds, and is suitable for the whole family. Hindvani FM is a community radio station that promotes Hindi culture and language in South Africa. It broadcasts on 91.5FM in Durban and 102.3FM in Pietermaritzburg.

Entry to the Royal Show is R65 per adult, R40 for children under 12 and pensioners, R40 for everyone on Wednesday, May 31 and R50 on Friday, June 2.

Tagged as “Super Friday”, the halls will remain open until 8.30pm and the funfair will provide unlimited rides between 5pm and 7pm for R150. - Supplied.
