Abide by the constitution

2018-11-21 06:01

IN 1912, the ANC was formed and when the 1913 Land Act came into being, a group of ANC leaders went to England to see Queen Victoria as we were still a colony.

They were unable to see her.

A lot has happened since then — the dreaded apartheid, the Freedom Charter, so-called democracy and the most beloved Constitution.

I only wish that those who are voted into power by the people every five years would abide by the Constitution and those under them.

If so-and-so lies, so can I and the people do not know their rights, so they can’t fight against it.
