HILTON Veterinary Hospital provides quality pet care from wellness to crisis in the Midlands.

Our ethos is high quality patient care where your animal is treated in a humane, minimal stress manner with the best technology available.

We are situated at 72 Hilton Avenue, opposite the Hilton Quarry Centre. Our consulting hours are weekdays, 8am to 9pm, Saturdays, 9am to 12pm, Sundays and public holidays, 9am to 10am. Emergencies are seen immediately although we work on an appointment system.

Our general practioners are Dr Jeannette Oosthuizen, Dr Sujatha Harrylal and Dr Sarah Halgreen. We pride ourselves in providing a quality primary care and specialist care service. This includes vaccinations, sterilisations, dentistry, general surgery and the diagnosing and treating of your loved ones.

Dr Martin de Scally is the practice owner and is a small animal medicine specialist. Martin’s passion is pain control and non-invasive diagnosis and treatment of sick animals. He sees endocrine, cardio respiratory, critical care, dermatology, gastroenterology, neurological and oncology cases.

Hilton Veterinary Hospital also takes referrals for difficult unresolvable cases from other practices over the whole of KwaZulu-Natal.

We have also received a referral from Onderstepoort for a specialised procedure, which is performed only at Hilton Veterinary Hospital in South Africa. Martin also lectures nationally and internationally for the World Small Animal Veterinary Association.

Dr Daniela Steckler is also part of our team. She is a reproduction specialist and is available to assist with all breeding-related queries.

We offer a nurse’s clinic, where our nurses discuss diets and weight control, give treatments, perform laser therapy as well as some other minor procedures.

Hilton Vet Hospital offers 24 hour monitoring of patients, extended opening hours and 24 hour availability of our vets for emergencies. We have extensive diagnostic and therapeutic equipment which allows us to offer a high level of care to sick animals.

We produce informative newsletters with lots of helpful information, case studies and feel-good patient stories.

Please feel free to contact us on 033 343 4602, at or on our Facebook page for any advice or queries and we will do our best to assist you.

If we can be of assistance to you, we look forward to meeting you and your pets.
