ORGANISERS of the annual model search competition Face of KZN will host the eighth edition of the contest on September 5.

Founder of the search Bongani Nkosi said, as the organising team, they have decided to expand due to public demand.

“People wanted to see the contest grow by including the young and old. These two categories will showcase their talents in two parades,” said Nkosi, who added that this year’s competition will include age categories including: five-seven, eight-to-10, 16-17, and 36-70.

The Face of KZN Model Search is the brainchild of a former model, teacher, community development worker, and talent scout who is affectionately known as Bengs Nkosi.

Speaking about the reason he started the pageant, Nkosi said that in 2010 he had a vision about discovering the young, new and unknown faces of boys and girls to be introduced into the modelling industry.

“Those who want to enter the 2020 contest should visit our Facebook page at www.faceofkznmodelsearch.com for more information and the rules of the contest,” said Nkosi, who added that all queries should be directed to him via e-mail at bcankosi@gmail.com or at 083 241 1291 during working hours.
