Armed robbery suspects arrested

THE Mountain Rise Crime Intelligence Unit, under the command of Captain Sadha Pillay and the director of the KTT Security, Bevil Carey, arrested three suspects recently in connection with an armed robbery in Willowton Road which occurred on September 8.

Mountain Rise SAPS spokesperson, Captain Gay Ebrahim said the suspects were arrested in the CBD and Edendale.

“Five armed men held up the complainant who was [allegedly] assaulted before being robbed of R70 000 and cellphones,” Ebrahim said.

Mountain Rise SAPS station commander, Brigadier Boxer Pillay expressed his thanks to Carey and his team at KTT Security for their partnership and assistance in the fight against crime. - Supplied.
