LOCALS of all ages can look forward to an action-packed entertainment extravaganza as The Australian Circus Spectacular at the Scottsville Racecourse at Golden Horse Casino until 28 August.

The show blends slapstick comedy, extreme stunts, and traditional acrobatic cirque performances.

Guests will enjoy a variety of unique acts including mysterious mind-bending illusions, acrobatic performances, FMX jumps beneath the big top tent, the intriguing “Splitting Globe of Death”, and one of the world’s only surviving human cannon-ball acts fired over the heads of the audience.

“Golden Horse is thrilled to host an international show of this magnitude. It is set to provide some of the most spectacular entertainment performances we’ve ever seen,” said Moonyean Smit, marketing manager at Golden Horse Casino.

The Aussie Circus has options for morning, afternoon and evening shows. Tickets are R200 to R400 for adults and R150 to R350 for children under the age of 14. Tickets available at Computicket, Shoprite and Checkers.

Another exciting event coming to the Golden Horse is the arrival of Boktown for rugby enthusiasts on Saturday, 20 August. - Supplied.
