MARITZBURG pianist, Christopher Duigan will present Autumn Rhapsody, a programme of music reflecting the
current seasonal change, at Casa Mexicana, 35 Montgomery Drive, Athlone, on Friday, June 9 and Sunday, June 11.

Music lovers can enjoy Nocturne in E-flat by Chopin, Debussy’s Arabesque, Chopin’s Ballade No 3, music by Mozart and selections from contemporary composers.

“As we approach the special hues of winter light and the onset of the magical wintry days, I wanted to present a richly coloured programme of magical melodies - music that makes the piano resonate with rich and warming colours,” said Duigan.

Tickets are R200, which includes dinner from 6.30pm, for the concert on June 9 or R120 for the concert only.

Tickets are R100, including coffee, for the recital at 11.30am am on June 11. Add R100 for a light meal afterwards.

Booking for both concerts is essential. Email booking@musicrevival.co.za or SMS or WhatsApp
