Awful service to clients from Telkom

2019-03-13 06:00

TELKOM should seriously consider obtaining larger premises than its office at Liberty Midlands Mall. People arriving there with their many complaints form queues stretching almost out of the door on most days. No seating is provided, not even for the elderly.

Compounding this situation is the awful service provided to the customers.

The cable to our landlines in Eastwood has been disconnected for some spurious reason and we have been told to apply for wireless telephones which we would receive free.

I have been without a landline since October 2018, despite filling in the requisite forms. I have been told on numerous occasions that they are out of stock and waiting for supplies from the “warehouse”.

The lack of empathy and customer service constitute grounds for another commission of inquiry by the president.

Trying to engage the call centre is an exercise in futility.

• Telkom was asked to respond but did not do so by the time of going to print.
