Be the rainbow to someone

2016-10-12 06:00

THE reason some people are where they are is because of attitudes and the way they treat people.

If you treat people badly then you get treated badly. What you put out is what you will get in return, but if you put positivity, optimism, kindness and respect you will get it back.

So treat others with respect, tolerance and love and you will receive love in return so that your cups runs over. Do something great with your life so that you will be remembered and your legacy will live on in the hearts of man.

Do not limit yourself with selfish acts but reach for perfection with sacrifice and dedication for a greater, more just and worthy cause. Build rather than break. You hold tomorrow in your hands.

Life is not made up of little cubicles that we live in and do our office jobs fulfilling our roles as wife, father, worker, mother, husband. Dare to dream bigger than that and impact peoples lives with generosity, enthusiasm and make a difference.

You have the potential to reach your dreams, to set others free from the chains that bind them to selfless acts of camaraderie and bravery. The journey to discovering who you are is governed by our own choices. We can choose life or death, to be above or beneath, in the fire or in heaven. If you are fighting for something just make sure it is worth fighting for.

Some may be quick to fight for wrong reasons but what purpose have you achieved? Make sure your cause is significant enough and your reward at the end of it all was worth the effort and the risk taken.

So stand up and be counted not just a head, but a heart not just a house, but a temple, a home.

Plant the seeds, dig in your heart, plough its field, rake the fallen leaves or the times you’ve fallen and remember with the rain and storms that come, comes a harvest, a beautiful rainbow of many colours.

Be the rainbow to someone, add effervescent colour to your world.
