FOR the first time since the video drama, Pastor Sthembiso Zondo, now signed under Khayelihle Music, will be a special guest at a four-day sermon service in the city.

This is a joint event by Khayelihle Music, owned by businessman Muzi Mkhize, and UEM Worshippers.

Everyone is invited to join Zondo in an event that starts on Sunday.

Zondo recently made headlines when a video of himself in his “birthday suit” was circulated.

According to Khayelihle Music media and marketing manager Thandiwe Zamisa, the aim of the event is to motivate.

“The aim is to let Zondo motivate and give people hope at this time of the year,” she said.

There will be also entertainment by gospel artists Thina Zungu, Malusi Mbokazi, Lerato Tau, and more.

Admission is free and everyone is invited to listen to Zondo, and services by other guests.

“As Khayelihle Music we are looking forward to working with Zondo. He is now signed under our music label and there is more to come from the label and artists who are signed under us. We felt we needed to give the man of God a platform and let him shine in what he does best,” she said.

Asked what it means to have a big fish like Zondo as one of them she said: “It’s more about what we are giving him. We are giving him a home where he can completely feel at home and be himself.

“This is his home and we welcome him with warm hands. We are excited as the label and we look forward to working together,” said Zamisa.

The event, which began yesterday, and lasts until Sunday, takes place at Voortrekker Museum Hall in Langalibalele Street next to the new rank. The event will start at 6.30pm to 9pm.
