Book for the Xtec O.T.T Enterprise Relay now

2017-03-08 06:00

THE annual “not at all serious” corporate relay, the Xtec O.T.T Enterprise Relay, will take place on St Patrick’s Day, on 17 March, at the Royal Showgrounds.

Along the route you will be expected to complete some strange tasks to get your number stamped but whatever the corporates along the way have in store, be assured that you will be laughing hysterically by the time you dive over the “gladiator” and enter the track.

Much thought went into how the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Business could put together a fun networking and team event that was not a serious running event, but that incorporated an element of merriment and brought businesses together in a relaxed environment, and the relay was born in 2012.

The PCB has enjoyed support from local businesses over the past five years and is thrilled to announce that a new naming-rights sponsor, Xtec, has come on board this year. The PCB is grateful for the ongoing support of CK Water & Energy Drinks, Maritzburg Fever and the Royal Agricultural Society.

The event is designed to bring business entities together and to build inter-company relationships as well as enhance morale. Last year, the event attracted over 100 teams and more than 1 000 people, either participating in the relay or socialising in the main arena. Book your teams now by filling in an entry form and e-mailing it to Lorna Jones at or phone 033 345 2747 for more information. — Supplied
