THE Drakensberg Boys Choir is set to wow Pietermaritzburg locals at the annual Christmas Concert to be held at the Pietermaritzburg City Hall on Thursday, December 5.

Speaking about the concert, owner of the outlet Cameron Mackenzie said they went to great lengths to ensure that those attending the concert, their guests for the evening, will enjoy the best and most inspiring experience they as the producers are able to offer.

“We will be ensuring that the audience all leave the Christmas concert uplifted, enriched and inspired.

Guests attending the concert can rest assured of their safety and that of the parked vehicles with the entire City Hall precinct being patrolled by a private security company,” said Mackenzie, adding that the boys’ performance locally, titled “Christmas”, is specifically compiled for Pietermaritzburg audiences.

“This ‘end-of-year’ concert is a highlight on the choir’s calendar.

Capacity audiences are expected to fill the auditorium to capacity,” said Mackenzie.

Other soloists, besides the Drakensberg Boys Choir, will also perform at the event.

Tickets to the concert, which starts at 7 pm, range from R140 to R280 and are available online at or at the PayZone at Parklane Superspar.
