RETIRED policeman are invited to attend a meeting which takes place every month on the second Saturday of the month at the Chistlehurst­ Academics and Arts on the corner of Moses Mabhida and Camps Drift Road.

Former officer of the law Logan Govender said that the meeting is a chance for all retired officers to congregate and socialise with one another as well as discuss current affairs.

“This invitation is extended to all retired police officers and we welcome them to attend.

“After the meeting we usually have a ‘bring and braai’ where we can enjoy a meal and the company of one another,” said Govender.
