THE Mseleku family, which has won people’s hearts because of their reality show Uthando Nesthembu, will visit Pietermaritzburg to be part of the Khayelihle Concert taking place at Golden Horse Casino tomorrow at 6 pm.

Uthando Nesthembu is a polygamy reality show that plays on Mzansi Magic (chanel 161) every Thursday.

The Khayelihle Concert is an annual concert that is organised by Khayelihle Funeral Services prior to the Maritzburg City Marathon. The marathon event takes place on Saturday and Sunday.

Muzi Mkhize, owner of Khayelihle Funeral Services, said they decided to bring the Mseleku family to the city because they want the people of Pietermaritzburg to meet them.

“This concert is aimed at giving artists an opportunity to showcase their talents. We then decided to invite the Mseleku family since they are managed under Khayelihle Music. This is a big thing for Pietermaritzburg and that is why we want to bring them closer to the community.

“We know that lots of people love this family and they would like to meet them one day. This is their opportunity to meet them, free of charge.

“People will also be allowed to take pictures with the Mselekus without any problems,” he said.

Mkhize said this is the second time the Mseleku family will visit Pietermaritzburg. The first time was during the Pietermaritzburg Jazz Festival last year but people had to buy tickets.

He said since they started the concert, it has been a success and they are hoping for a great turn out this year.

He urged people to come out in their numbers to support the concert.

We know that lots of people love this family and they would like to meet them one day.
