Children among the injured after taxis crash

Eight people were injured, including six children, when a taxi rear-ended another at the Dewaal and Trelawney Road intersection in the Grange on Tuesday. ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said when ER24 arrived the two taxis were found on the left-hand lane of the road and several children were seen walking around the scene. ‘Paramedics assessed the patients and found that six children, aged between five and seven, as well as two adults had been injured in this incident,’ said Meiring adding that the exact cause of the collision was not yet known.
