Mbedu, also born and bred in Pietermaritzburg, recently returned from the United States after being nominated in the Emmy’s.

“I’m excited to be coming to my home town soon after my trip abroad, which has showed me I am on the right path with my craft.

“I am also looking forward to inspiring the young community of Pietermaritzburg through this amazing initiative - Dance 2 Inspire.”

Activities on Friday include brand activations, meet and greet, crew registration and interviews, HIV/Aids testing and counselling starting at 10am until 12pm.
