MUSIC producer and the Deejay Ziphezinhle Dlamini will release his first extended play (EP) titled Music is Power on July 18.

Dlamini (19) from Imbali Unit 1, who is known as Loird, says he is very excited about this EP.

He said it has eight tracks and he hopes that everyone will enjoy it.

“I started doing music in when I was doing Grade 12 in 2017 and it has always been my dream to have my own EP that people will get to listen to.

“This is like a dream come true for me and it is a start because in future I want to release an album,” he said.

Dlamini said he grew up listening to music and that is what inspired him to want to do music.

“Even though I used to listen to hip hop a lot, I love gqom music and that is why I chose to do it.”

He said he is planning on doing a launch for his EP but he still has not decided on the venue.
