ONCE again, uMgungundlovu District Municipality has earned two national awards from the South African Institute of Civil Engineering (SAICE).

The municipality was awarded the Best Community Projects for the Ephatheni Water Supply Project in Richmond and the Asbestos Replacement Project in Merrivale/Hilton.

Categories included Well Civil Engineered Projects and the Promotion of the Practice and Development of Excellence in civil engineering in the built environment profession.

The team was led by head of department, technical services, Bheki Mbambo. - Supplied.
