THE world-renowned Drakensberg Boys’ Choir returns to Pietermaritzburg City Hall for a festive season concert on November 30 at 7 pm.

Simply titled Christmas, the concert is presented by Parklane Superspar and co-ordinated by Music Revival’s Christopher Duigan and Brad Glasspoole.

South Africa’s singing ambassadors, the Drakensberg Boys’ Choir, end their 50th anniversary celebrations with this not-to-be-missed concert which will lift the audience’s spirit with their singing of traditional Christmas music.

The evening — presented in association with The Witness, Pietermaritzburg, CPW Printers, Wedgewood Nougat and Coca-Cola Beverages SA — will also see the audience singing traditional carols accompanied by the city hall organ.

Another treat will be a performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria by Baroque 2000.

There will be secure, patrolled parking at the city hall, Tatham Art Gallery and Bessie Head Library precincts on the evening. To book seats go to www.ticketpros.co.za — Supplied.
