AFRO House duo Intruderz SA say they want their music to grow until it reaches international level.Mlungisi Mncube and Wandile Mkhize from Eastwood have been nominated in Dance Music Awards SA, to be held in October. The duo is nominated along Dj Black Coffee in the category of Best Music Video for their song, titled African Woman featuring Pelle. They told Echo that they only knew about the nomination last week after the community nominated them.“We released our music video in April this year and it has been airing on Chanel O. Since then people have been talking about it and I think that is why we were nominated.“We are so honoured and blessed to be nominated along big artists like Black Coffee. This means that we are making ourselves known in terms of music. They could have chosen from any other music video but they chose ours,” said Mncube. The duo, who met in 2013, said their wish is to win the award. They said the fact that it made it to the top means that anything is possible for them.“We urge people to please vote for us because that is the only way to help us win this award,” said Mkhize. The duo recently released a song titled Kophel’imali last month. They plan to release an EP in October, titled Cinderella under Union Records from Italy.“We want to work hard as much as we can to give people the best music. We do not want to only represent Pietermaritzburg but we want to represent the province and the country with our music.“We want to travel the world through music,” added Mncube. To vote for the duo, sign in to www.dmasa.co.zaVoting is for free but you can only vote once.
